The Screenwriters Forum Vienna has launched a two-stage competition encouraging authors to create stories with unusual and
willful female lead characters. In a first step the jury of the If She Can See It, She Can Be It program has selected five projects (out of 85), each of them endowed with € 5,000 in order to develop an „exposé“.
Projects by Lilly Axster, Katrina Daschner, Johannes Höss & Clara Stern, Lisa Weber and Libertad Hackl & Sophia Laggner are now vying for the main prize, a € 15,000 support for the development of the screenplay.
