Once Were Rebels has been selected for the FOCUS Competition, together with Andreas Horvath's Lillian (WP Cannes 2019) and Richard Ladkani's Sea of Shadows (WP Sundance 2019), two additional Austrian contenders. Once Were Rebels will celebrate its world premiere at the ZÜRICH Film Festival (September 26 to October 6, 2019)
Austrian director Marie Kreutzer (The Ground Beneath My Feet) is part of the FOCUS Competition jury together with Thomas Kufus (president), Aline Schmid, Benjamin Herrmann and Natascha Beller.
