Two TV-movies directed by Austrian director ANDREAS PROCHASKA, co-produced by ORF, are on the nominees’ list for the most prestigeous international TV award:

A DAY FOR A MIRACLE (Das Wunder von Kärnten) is nominated for Best TV Movie, Heino Ferch in the Best Actor category for his performance in ANATOMY OF REVENGE (Spuren des Bösen – Racheengel )
Winners will receive awards November 25, 2013 at the 41st  International Emmy Awards Gala in New York.

Young and amitious cardiovascular surgeon Dr. Markus Höchstmann has to fill in for the senior physician, as an emergency is rushed in: a drowned four-year-old girl, lifeless, cold, her heart has stopped beating. 30 minutes under water, too long for her brain to survive without damage. Markus decides to risk everything to save the girl's life. With desperate courage he tries to make a miracle happen.

Brock is unable to prevent it from happening: A young hostage-taker kills himself while Brock watches. The case is closed as far as the police are concerned, but it's just starting for Brock. His investigation takes him close to the church and shows him the depths of the human soul.
