Hidden Michael Haneke's fourth feature in competition in Cannes was awarded the best director-prize at the 58^th Cannes festival. Furthermore the Austrian-French coproduction (Wega-Film, Les Films du Losange) starring Daniel Auteuil and Juliette Binoche was given the Fipresci-Prize and the Prix oecuménique. One week after its international premiere Hidden has been sold worldwide to most of the key territories.
